Autism’s Famous Faces

Famous People on the Autism Spectrum

“It seems that for success in science and art, a dash of autism is essential.”

Hans Asperger

The term ‘autism’ wasn’t used until well after many of these amazing and highly respected people had lived and died, so describing them as being on the autism spectrum is open to debate. Ultimately you’ll have to decide for yourself, but I’ve studied them, and feel (along with many others) that they were indeed people who dealt with autism every day of their lives.
This list is here to inspire and uplift others who struggle with similar social and sensory issues, and to assure them that being on the spectrum is something that will often help you succeed in life, rather than holding you back as so many people would have you believe.
